Active duty tends to have more exposure. Doesn’t mean they all grow better for it.

The PCS part is really important. It’s what forces you to be comfortable with loving in New surroundings.

I can understand why more people in the guard don’t change. Because despite the TDYs they are always going to back to the same home.

Remember Kent State

National Guard is a small part (and state specific) of the military AND is mostly representative of the state they’re from. They usually have a more homogenous world view derived from the culture of their state.

Active duty military gets to experience other places and takes people away from their home state, usually improving their world views.

Point being, it’s not black and white, and generalizations are generally useless.

While I agree with the core of your statement, the OP is asking about media. I don’t think comparing medical or scientific breakthroughs by unethical means to art/content made by unethical people makes sense…
