As someone who drives for a living and tries to be very aware of the motorcyclists in the area, thank you for your note. I’ll add it to my “Don’t kill a motorcyclist” checklist.

There are a decent amount of teenagers where I work and I try to pass that idea on to as many as I can. Adults too, of course, but it’s really satisfying to be able to catch people while they’re young and still have loads of time to protect themselves… From a lot of things.

You’re absolutely right, all this old timer “Kids these days are so soft…” B. S. When in reality the young just don’t wanna die or be maimed at 30.

Take care of your bodies, kids, it’s the only one you get. Don’t let corporations run you into the ground and then throw you in the trash. We need to demand better working conditions from our bosses and our elected officials.

What do you do? As a parent what do you fucking do? How do you protect your kids from this?? What are we supposed to do? Tell them not to leave the house??

I’m in fucking tears, both for this little girl and her family and friends, and because I literally do not know how to protect my daughter from this.

My kid has already been shooting adjacent once in her life, and that list of kids grows and grows every year. Kids shot, kids siblings shot, kids friends shot, kids on lockdown because there’s a shooting in the school, near the school, shootings in Walmarts, now they can’t play in their front yards or ring the wrong doorbell by mistake.

The fuck, you guys? Thanks for listening so I could get that out of my system before my kid sees my face.

It’s 2023 ffs. I too am amazed (and shocked, and appalled) that we’ve only just now gotten a woman on the joint chiefs of staff.

Sucks when I can’t even be excited cuz I’m just so disappointed it took this long.

I love how these donuts are so comfy that they can be used casually for over-itching/licking. I’d feel so cruel putting a regular cone on my dog just for over-licking. But the donut, while it annoys him, isn’t so traumatic, or feel like as much of a punishment. Plus they can sleep with them on! Making them sleep in a cone is damn near heartbreaking.

Whoever invented these donuts is a genius.

If you haven’t already I recommend you go ahead and get her a donut. We got a donut for the dogs when our second one got neutered, and one for the cat. The cat ended up with an abscess in his jaw a couple years later, and I was very grateful to have a soft thing to protect that area with from the very beginning.

The one for the dogs has also been used again twice, for hot spots, and it was nice to already have it on hand. You never know when these lovable dumbasses are gonna get hurt, is all I’m saying.

I don’t have Twitter, so I don’t know who the person in question is. I’m choosing to believe it’s Elon himself. He’s been one for skipping out on bills lately so that tracks.

Same. I’ve had two traumatic childbirths for different reasons. I do not care to be reminded of the experience.

As someone with Alzheimer’s in their family history this is very relieving news. Obviously I might not get it, but it’s nice to know that by the time I do (if I do) it won’t be like it was for my granddad. Hell I’m not even 40 yet, maybe it’ll basically have a cure, or a preventative.

Maybe this disease will no longer be devastating families soon.

How is that any of the airlines business?? Kid bought a ticket. He has no obligation to use the full ride. I hope he/his family sues and I hope they win.
