It also doesn’t say if they didn’t. We have no reason to believe that they didn’t yell at him.
But yeah, if someone pounds on my door at 2am, then tries to force the door open, then smashes my window to try and unlock the door, I’m not waiting til they get inside to see if they are peaceful.
Not risking my life or the lives of my wife and kids on wishful thinking. It’s a tragedy that the guy lost his life, it really is. But he didn’t exactly leave a lot of wiggle room for the homeowners in the house he was invading.

To top it off, they awarded those under investigation an extra month of PTO and a settlement for the PTSD they experienced for being under such scrutiny!

Other way around. Apple could buy Disney, not the other way around.
Apple’s market cap is around $2.8T, while Disney’s is around $160B.
Americans in general need to unionize more.
This country needs a general strike in the worst way possible.
Don’t forget the government ensuring that student loans are not able to be erased, even by bankruptcy.
This creates a guaranteed income stream for the banks, while also allowing the universities to crank up tuition costs, knowing that the bank will approve any student loan amount - knowing there will never be a default on that loan.
At this point, the whole secondary education system in the US is a giant scam to create debtors for the next 20-30 years.
And exacerbating the problem simultaneously!
