I did this two years when state farm raised my rates and gave me some bullshit reason that simple math proved false. My new agency has actually decreased my rates every year since.

I’ve cut a lot of my family off largely because of who they voted for, yes.

Yeah I didn’t know it at the time but my childhood sucked and pretty much my entire adulthood has been happier.

I do miss the naivete about being a young dumb adult and living in the moment without a thought about my future. Life hasn’t gotten worse since then. It’s arguably gotten better. I just miss that specific kind of fun.

Ah okay I understand now. I was trying to figure out how they were gonna get more republican seats in states that are already gerrymandered to shit. This changes WHO gets elected.

Is it possible for those states to even be gerrymandered further?

October 14th is also George Floyd’s birthday. If it passes I’ll be celebrating George Floyd Day of Remembrance. It’s actually perfect. They still won’t be able to control the narrative.

I spend more of my free time gaming because it’s cheap and there have been fantastic games released lately. Definitely more depressed this year but it’s just the state of the world. Doing what I can to protect my peace. It’s kinda felt kinda like covid all over again.

Same. I started cutting back on everything I could at the beginning of the year.

Switched from fast food to takeout from local restaurants, canceled all my Amazon subscribe and save orders, and bought everything I possibly could from Costco. I’ve actually saved a lot this year.

Thankfully someone I knew posted it on social media. Seems to be the only way information gets spread around now. Been trying to do the same. It’s by the same group that did the no kings protest and they have said they plan to continue planning protests so I would just follow that group for upcoming protests. I had googled “next no kings protest” after I heard about it and it popped up.

I’ve made it my personal mission to get as many people I know out to the protests. It helps a little though I’m still hopelessly depressed.

Next nationwide protest is this Thursday! July 17th. Good trouble lives on.
