Wonderful… I wonder when this country is going to have Kristallnacht.
Honestly, the best thing for the planet right now would be not to have a US
Everybody here in the US keeps telling me that I’m wrong when I say this stuff will destroy our economy.
I sincerely hope the rest of the world proves them wrong.
This is what happens when you burn all your bridges. I’m American myself and to be brutally honest, I hope most of the free world will continue to refuse requests to export to us.
Part of me sympathizes with the guy, but this was reckless
Who’s ready to go all Office Space on these things?
“Shut up about the issue that I could actually be solving, but instead I’m too busy bullying our allies and making things even more expensive”
Yeah, no. Fuck off Mango Mussolini
You tug on the leash too many times and eventually the dog is going to turn on you
Are you really a Fediverse user if you haven’t gotten one of these yet?
Well… of course they are. We’re threatening their right to exist. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily always see eye to eye with Canada and its people, but this is beyond fucked up.
I’m sorry, but I’m totally stealing this. xD
I’m just glad to be part of a community that seems to have some shread of human decency left. That’s not all too common here in the States these days.
Good. One less piece of trash in the country
I know I’m not the target of this question, but as American I’d like to see the reverse. I wanna see more non American social media in the US.
The really sad thing is that people drink the right wing kool-aid without even thinking about it. I hate to generalize, but I think it’s because people are genuinely selfish.
Exactly. That’s the main barrier I think.
Also, the .ml and whatnot are just people on other instances.
We need to get more people to adopt the Fediverse. The issue is lack of engagement.
This is just practically the classic uni experience here.
