The main thing is that she would have avoided national scrutiny and pushes for ethics investigations, if she just stayed in Alaska. She was the first woman and the youngest governor of Alaska and early on she had around 90% popularity among voters there.

Anyone who’s had cats for a long time notice how they are basically like teenagers; They love you and hear you(and have scientifically been shown to reckognize their names, and ignore them), but they like to be alone and ignore you a lot of the time unless they want something. But they will also come running and show affection if they’re the mood for that.

There are some who are more attached and more likely to come running, but generally they’re just a bit independent.

The self-proclaimed privacy focused browser is tracking your browsing and want to serve you personalized ads, and I think they want to use that tracking data for AI training as well, meaning other people can potentially access it.

And lets not forget about their crypto currency that you can earn by turning on special ads. Which they seemingly unironically called it “Basic Attent Tokens”…

TL;DR: The company is basically a sham company trying to usher in a dystopia. Where you’ll get paid for staring at ads, while having all your data stolen and sold back to you.

Why the fuck anyone is humouring these clowns is beyond me.

So once the process is more refined it would be great, but it’s clearly not ready.

It’s funny how they never expect the things they vote for to negatively impact their own lives, only other peoples lives.

Who needs encryption when you have your Governement Issued and Officially Licensed and DRM locked browser that forces you to watch ads between every click or you can’t use the online-only services.

While true that they’re not polluting for fun, many corporations will try to avoid any anti-pollution measure that will lose them money. To the point where they spend billions of dollars every year to lobby governements, enviromental protection organizations, and drag out regulations with lawsuits. Because in the long run it’s usually worth it for them to pollute, as long as the investors see enough profits in the short term.

Eugenics remained alive and well in federal governement efforts until the late 70s. They just didn’t/don’t talk about it because of how the US supported Germany with that leading up to WW2. The Rockefeller Foundation funded eugenics research that employed Josef Mengele, and US literature was literally being used as templates for early Nazi cleansing programs.

The US military has a wide range of generals, all the way from people who can barely stop themselves from dribbling while staring at a wall for hours as entertainment, to actual competent ones.

At least this guy is just a moron, some of them are very dangerous. For example US Army General Wesley Clark, who ordered someone to basically start WW3, which didn’t go through because several officers refused to listen to him. Then he ran for president as a democrat, withdres. He later started a consulting firm and now runs a “boutique investment bank”.

That’s fair.

I was mostly venting my frustration over those silly posts anway. Since as long as humans have physical bodies, we will at times need individual transportation. And they sometimes act like literally everything in life can be done through public transport and excpeting people to bring home a couch on the bus.

One important thing to note is that for many it hurts a lot less than you’d think, basically feeling like a light scratch.
