Not in Canada and I believe also not in the US. The yellow only comes before red, not before green.
Here it’s red, green, yellow, red, green, yellow…

I hated school because there was a bunch of kids mocking and laughing at me for most of it.
I guess some popular kids had good times by pulling my pants down or constantly hitting my chair during class. They must reminisce and miss those times, when they were laughing with their peers.
Rice. I know it’s common in Asian countries but absolutely not where I’m from.
I never really liked Skype but seeing a major corporation buy proprietary software and its servers, then shut it down, makes me glad that I’m still using IRC with some of my friends. Try buying that.
Anyway I’m getting old now because Microsoft doing something like this just reminds me of their EEE strategy.
I thought the reverse at some point until I realized that a couple of woodpeckers were making sounds similar to squirrels. I was laying in my tent one morning and heard those calls and thought some squirrels were “fighting”, but then they started pecking at a tree so I realized what they were.
Also, the first time I went in the Caribbean I thought birds were making such a ruckus in the evening but it was actually a small frog called Eleutherodactylus martinicensis.
Yuck, I’m not waiting for it. If possible I’d like to run away from that thing. I only associate it with corporations and work.
I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for but, what is safer for pedestrians, cyclists and other drivers, is to have less cars on the roads. Buses can move dozens of people with a single trained professional driver. Trains can move hundreds. It’s illogical to try to push for autonomous cars for individuals when we already have “self driving” technologies that are much much safer and much more efficient.
Yes, green means go!11! Even there’s an old lady that just didn’t finish crossing yet, she just had to do it in the few seconds allowed.
My favorite one is people honking at other drivers for not blocking an intersection because “it’s green!”. I don’t know the term in English but in French it’s a mix of intersection and blocage. Like, if the light is green but there is no space to advance because of gridlock, some apparently like to make it worse by advancing their car in an intersection and sit there while it turns red, and thus blocking the intersection. BuT It WaS GreEn!
