Yep, we’re in the final stages of latestage capitalism. We can either go full send into some sort of wealth redistribution/nullification/reparations type scheme, or we can watch forever wars happen over resources like fresh water.
The next 200 years are going to be absolutely insane. I for one am happy I’ll not live to see it, however those that are 3-5 generations in the future…I have not much hope.

Band, theater club, math club, chess club, computer club, to just name a few. Outside of school there’s Kiwanis, boyscouts, YMCA, big brother program, there is no shortage of programs directed at boys. They’re all underfunded in the inner city and rural ag counties. But the Tate heads mostly live in the safe suburbs. They’re usually white and those programs tend to be better funded in those places.
Yup, the massive investment in engagement algorithms is why these hateful messages are amplified.

Lonely men trying to find agency, power and meaning has a long history. It’s the nucleation point that keeps the patriarchy alive and well. The fix is simple, reduce income inequality, allow for third spaces in society, allow for all citizens to have a 40 hour week (32 hours would be even better) to allow for proper child care, and finally fund schools to a level where educated professionals want to work and teach.
All of those are counter to capitalism though, so we get “a male loneliness epidemic” which is really just media profiting off of lonely, bored, maladjusted teens and those with arrested development that never evolved past age 16.
