Therapy is never a cure. If you have a problem then therapy can help you confront it and deal with it, but if we have a massive society-wide mental health crisis it will not be solved by each man individually seeking therapy.

We need meaning in our lives, something worth dedicating ourselves to, and the means to pursue it. Mercenary capitalism won’t provide that.

In short, I don’t see an answer. I think it will get worse.

Most importantly, this new wave of mental health problems is not caused by a new wave of “not being vulnerable.” It’s a societal issue and must be confronted there, not shunted onto each individual man.

Nazis only lost their empire. They’re basically terrorists themselves now, though not as well funded apparently.

Terrorism doesn’t have an empire in the same way. They don’t usually occupy an entire nation with an economy and complex professional society. The empire was crushed.

Terrorism is all underground. Do we know how it’s funded? What are the economics of terrorism? Infrastructure? They’re more slippery.

I blocked the whole instance. I’ll admit that I do want to see nude females (who are obviously adults) but I was seeing lots of other stuff that I don’t find sexy, and blocking specific communities was like playing whack-a-mole.

I’m still calling it twitter.

Yeah thanks for the warning. I was about to put a computer chip in my brain with no concerns about privacy.

I’m looking for an interaction with the artists. I do not care what an AI produces… and I don’t care what a marketing team or boardroom of producers produces. I’m looking for an artist’s vision.

I hope they get that cash
