It would be aesthetics if fathers did it because they think it looks better. But that’s not what’s happening. They do it over fear that their sons will be ostracised for having different looking dicks. That’s a social reason, not an aesthetic one.

I said nothing about solving any problems because I agree, systems need to be changed from within (not that anybody expected a big systemic change after just one dead CEO like you imply). Workers’ rights did improve partly due to violence throughout history, though, but that’s not my point.
