I actually prefer the 7 series over the 3 series looks. They’re both ugly, but at least the grill on the 7 series fits on the front of the car. The 3/4 series has to extend the hood upwards to fit the grill.

I doubt their designs are hurricane + flood proofed.
Also the high voltage disconnect/fuse is under the seats. Flood that and you’ve got a problem.
If your machine is capable of running windows 7 (properly) it’s not capable of running Windows 11.
The labor should reward at least the value it produces. If it produces 0 value then the “job” shouldn’t exist.
Is it really dumping for Amazon? Or just dunking on influencers?
Given enough time and demand there’s no reason apartment complexes can’t outfit their parking spots with slow chargers. Slow charging a car is much less demanding (and efficient) than trying to fast charge.
Very few people bother removing all the default apps in the first place.
The type of high caliber nerd to care about a pre installed app that sits dormant and uses a few MB of storage probably already uses remote desktop often enough they’d want to keep it.
Why remote desktop? I can understand the rest. But who uninstalls default apps and doesn’t use remote desktop?
Hasn’t this existed for a while? Or is it just the overlay that’s new?
In order to keep costs down the Pi is based on some pretty ancient hardware. DDR2 uses so much power no matter what, it’s not like modern stuff that uses nothing idle.
I’m waiting for the day all these shitty delivery services come crashing down. But sadly I think there’s enough idiots out there to keep them in buisness.
That said these practices aren’t unique. Almost any place where you buy X + a service will charge a markup on the initial item + their service fee.
*cries in 11th gen laptop*
Hair clippers are probably a good example of something where you’d want to replace the batteries and not just remove them.
Lithium ion batteries are typically rated to discharge at 2-4 times their capacity. So a 2.5Ah cell is rated for 20 amps, but if you run into something tough it will easily deliver far more amps than that.
Those cells look like they’re wired in series so they’d want 8V at potentially 20+ amps which is not a small amount of power to run some wires to.
Without prior experience I would not mess with anything with a lithium ion cell.
One benefit is “cooling” the water underneath as we’re running into record high sea temps.
Smaller panels spread out would be better since they can let in a decent average amount of light vs a big ass panel blocking everything in one area. But then you run into the issues of connecting all of those panels and that makes getting the power out of the ocean and into your house even harder.
The idea is that by those ages most people should be capable of doing those tasks responsibly. Not everyone is responsible enough to drive at 16, but most are.
On top of that these days most phone calls are routed over the internet at some point too.
They honestly don’t even seem interested in anyone in the midwest getting it. They’re only really interested in the coasts.
To get Starlink near me you need to be put onto a waiting list for them to roll it out to your area. But closer to the coasts (you don’t even have to be all that close, Idaho gets it) and you can sign up and get started right away.
