I actually remember albums. They were these physical discs that actually existed within our 3D world. Made entirely of vinyl, they played on a modular device designed entirely for their use and their use alone. In comparison, they were close to the same thickness, but considerably larger than even the ancient CD-ROMs were!
And they sounded SOOOOO much better than anything you’ve ever heard.
Disliking what someone think doesn’t mean we care about what they think.
People really need to accept the nuance in a thing. Because included in this is the notion that one can “care” about something or someone they dislike.
For example:
I care about what Trump thinks about immigration. I care about what he thinks about the rights and freedom of our LGBTQ+ friends and family. I care about what he thinks about other nations and the diplomacy needed to maintain a relationship with each and every one of them. I care about what he thinks about our healthcare system.
I don’t, however- care about him.
This is how nuance works. Everything isn’t simplified down to this, or else that. Black, or else white. Up, or else down. That each of these things to exist, one accepts that there is also a spectrum associated with it that allows for a gradation of perspective that has potential to lean in either direction.
EDIT: I hope this didn’t come off as condescending. I didn’t intend it to sound that way. I’m actually only trying to offer a different perspective.
People can dislike both, you know this… right?
The biggest problem with AI is the damage it’s doing to human culture.
Here lies the problem. People think that because something once worked- it’ll always work.
Perhaps we should use swords the next time we’re at war? I mean, they were very effective in the 1300’s, right?
Protests don’t work anymore. We’re way beyond anyone listening to gathered crowds.
I’m pretty sure we all know how everyone would vote if given the chance to do it again. I only wish those that didn’t would have the humility it takes to admit they made a huge mistake.
Again, it really looks good on paper. In practice- it does little.
Sadly, this is the correct answer. Protests really only look effective on paper, (or social media) however, gathering in protest is only ever going to work if those they protesting against, actually care to listen with an open mind.
There is no way the current administration has any plans to listen to anyone that disagrees with their attempts to personally own America.
I live here too and I’m all for it.
This is one of the best thing that I think can happen as a united front against that fascist stooge in the White House. And while I’m doubtful it’ll do much on a small scale, if everyone participated- this would be devastating enough for those hurt by it to actually do something.
It’s a good thing I’ve never used any of them and have no intention of ever changing my mind on this.
I can’t imagine what the hellish mental landscape is like for someone so terrified of minorities and women that they would resort to trying to erase the contributions these men and women made in defense of a country that would one day do this to them.
I’m SO fucking disgusted to have to share my nationality with these sub-human pissfart clouds.
When the time comes for these people to shake their mortal coil, I hope that their fear is intensified a thousand fucking fold. They do not deserve the peace that others have earned for leaving behind a good life.
NEVER stop saying those things. Make sure history does not forget what he was.

FTFY.
Hate to be that guy, but it’s “milquetoast.”
Edit: banned, troll.
I would think no, but considering that I posted the article, I’d leave it for other mods to act on if necessary.
A bit of a grey area to me as it’s just wondering, not actually suggesting.
I feel seen.
Yeah. Hopefully Canada can completely detach from the cancer that my home country has become. And same goes for everywhere else.
For the greater good of the rest of the planet- everyone needs to cut ties with this festering disease of a “nation.” And I sincerely hope it happens.
I’m not sure I’d ever put TS in the same sentence with that Nazi gremlin.
