I have a distant family member that illegally entered the US with her young child and used a stolen SSN and identity early on to gain employment.

Now that she’s got her green card, she’s fully in the “fuck everyone else, I got mine” camp. She cries about illegal immigrants and crime from people coming from her home country.

It’s legitimately insane to watch someone absolutely stop giving a fuck because they’ve got fiscal safety and security because they broke all the same laws during a democratic administration that was helping Latino immigrants.

Why can’t he just say “one of the good ones” and rip the band aid off.

You’re looking at this objectively as a medical practitioner…which is understandable, but way off.

What’s happening here is not even in the world of psychiatric or psychology based therapy.

This is 100% Christian religious based bullshit “therapy”. This can be done in Colorado with an “equivalent” graduate degree.

Even worse is if you’re engaged in the practice of “religious ministry” you don’t have to comply with any of the states licensure requirements as long as you don’t advertise or yourself as “licensed”. So in reality this “faith based therapist” probably is just some random person that works or volunteers at the church.

Then they offered to resolve it in whatever way CF deemed appropriate and CF refused to elaborate exactly which domains were the issue.

That’d be considered a win for a lot of these people. They would rather their young children die of easily preventable illnesses then find out that they’re gay.
