Trump will whittle away at the other branches of government until there’s nothing left, and then he will say we don’t need those other branches since they don’t do anything and dissolve them.
This has been played out many times.

Don’t understand how people can pay $7 for a coffee but won’t consider paying $5 or $10 a month for clean search results.

About seven years ago when Trump was president the first time, my wife and I went to see Roger Waters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We bought 7th row seats but had looked at 1st row and they were something like $800 each so we passed. Well, day of the show and you can only imagine the massive vitriol spewing from Waters and the huge screen behind him for Trump. He had an inflatable pig drone with TRUMP on it flying around the arena and all kinds of elaborate props.
A group of four dressed in cowboy regalia, presumably MAGA, walked out from the front row, enthusiastically flipping Roger Waters off as they did it. The seats alone were $3200ish.

Found this Australian video with clips from that tour. Being beneath the giant laser pyramid was awe inspiring. Waters says, “Haven’t you been listening all these years?”

I was fortunate to have seen it in theaters when it was released. My date was a girl that was out of my league that ended up being my prom date too. Good memories associated with that film.
I still think of the current LLVs as the “new” postal vehicles despite the newest of them having been built in 1994. When I was a kid they drove the cute little Jeeps.

It’s so nice to get clean unbiased search results.
It’s useful for my firmware development, but it’s a tool like any other. Pros and cons.
It’s intentional.
Obviously, Google makes money showing ads during search. But they have finally bit the bullet and starting tarpitting users in search in order to show more ads.
A quick, useful, and accurate search means that you’re on their site for the least amount of time, perhaps mere seconds. That’s not what’s best for revenue growth.
PS: Go try Kagi and be reminded what good clean search results look like. I use it because my time has value. It’s very good.

Have a conversation near your phones about purchasing something offbeat. We used a kitchen garbage disposal in our test. Talk about them for a few minutes, about needing to buy one, different brands, etc.
