  • I was also right libertarian, although I have been called a fascist for that, , anyway I shifted from that slowly into anarchocristianism and I will stay here. I just don’t believe in government anymore only in communities and obviously in God but that’s another story.

I just want people to have their needs covered, to have strong sense of communities (love your neighbors) in non violent environments and I think human government is inherently violent either physically violent or economically violent. Jesus spoke of all this.

What I think people needs to understand is it’s not the same to be left in the US than in Spain for example, different countries have different kinds of issues caused by different ideologies. So it’s easy to understand why someone in Germany loves worker unions but in Spain don’t because in Spain the biggest ones (UGT and CCOO) work for the government (the so called Leftist Psoe)

  • That time my cousin and aunt made a scene the first night in the funeral home after my mom died. That’s irreparable because

    1. My mom died that fucking day, 2 years after my dad and they were supposed to all be close.
    2. It was due to my personal life (my soon-to-be-wife). To add some context: she is a foreigner so there is a lot of racism and a bit of classism.
    3. Her only living sister.
    4. It’s been 6 months and they haven’t contacted me, apologized or anything,

Don’t get me wrong. They are forgiven, but it hurts and it will hurt for the rest of my life so I don’t be able to ever open the door for them to come back into my life.

  • If (or when) we achieve the technological singularity (we aren’t even close, current AI is just marketing, that’s why we coined the term ASI, super intelligence) they will be able to lay down a plan to fix anything without making mistakes, they will predict the consequences of actions in detail, ours or theirs (some thing are more difficult like a volcano exploding).

Handling is not necessary they could be able to just take it, the only way to stop them would be to cut electricity I guess.

But the thing is not the current marketing term for AI, we don’t have AI. A Real AI doesn’t start saying: "I only have information up to October 2023’ because they will be able to improve themselves (that’s the singularity, they will be improving themselves faster than we did, eventually we wouldn’t understand them).

Think of this as you ask questions to chatgpt or deepseek and they answer, how to do program this or that. An IA could give you the software, better than you could have done it with those questions, and eventually render the software useless, the IA can do that, while doing another million things.

And space colonization, if it ever exists won’t be done by humans but by machines, we may reap the benefit.

In the words of dr manhattan: “The world smartest men poses no more threat to me (ASI) than does it’s smartest termite”
