Apathy. Apathy is what happens next.
“I have bills to pay, I’m not taking time off to protest”
“I’m not the one being deported, sure, I feel bad but it’s not like one voice will make a difference”
Etc…

Just like the tsa deleted all the body scan images after the subject left the scanner.
I’ve encountered a few sites that restricted repeating or sequential characters. Of course told after failing the first creation attempt. Makes things like randomly generated passphrases fun to figure out. Particularly when their idea of “sequential” involves both in alpha/numerical order, but also adjacent spacing on the (assumed?) qwerty keyboard!
Pretty soon we’re going to be carrying cubes in our pockets
Kind of a different feel, but: Fight Song - The Stanfields
Also, Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls and Creeping Death
Finally, the entire first Matrix Original Soundtrack
Edit: Gorillaz - Feel Good is tickling my brain, and there’s something about Foster the People’s Pumped Up Kicks but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea. And: Dope - Die Motherfucker Die
He tackled a man.
Because of his purported ethnicity.
That’s insane.
I don’t think this is going to work. There are just as many younger trump/cultist/conservative voters now as there have been. Church attendance is not falling off and megachurches are getting more and more popular. People have been saying the same thing about the right-wing die-off as long as I’ve been a voter, and as much as I’d love to see it, I don’t see it happening.
This binary thinking is going to destroy the world, isn’t it? Societies and human endeavors are a messy, complex business.
Oh, shit, I’m still here… Can I have my wallet and dog back please?!?
Great Scott! I was so busy packing, I forgot about the dog! Quick! What are your rates! Nevermind - here’s my bank info - I won’t need money anymore!!
Oh, shit! Who will water my plants?!
The big advantage of brrrp is simplicity. Pull trigger, things go asplodsy and/or turn into pink mist. Close air support, which the 'hog kicked ass at in the sandbox, needs to be reliable and simple. With the proliferation of GPS jamming technologies and other countermeasures, simple and cheap should carry the day.
I don’t know if anything is as physically survivable as the A-10. Certainly not some modern composite that will be grounded for fractures after taking small arms fire. Also, the boots on the ground love the support provided by the A-10, as do the congress critters whose bases are in their districts.
Just rambling thoughts from a village idiot, not looking to start a fight
“They hope it will replace the A-10”
Aaaahahahahaha "Lets give it no BBBRRRRRRRPPP, a low service ceiling, use the engines as shielding / flak generators for the pilots, and hope to sell it as an A-10!
I wonder if the thinking is that once the proverbial seal on that lid is broken, the next administration would just Uno-reverse it by adding more of its preferred justices?
And, it’s not like (aside from the first two damn years when it should have been done) they had a trifecta; although you could be assured Manchin or Senema(?) would have fucked them over.
Professor Farnsworth: “Good news, everybody!”
How’d E.T. get in the box?
From an interview on a right-wing talk radio show. Context clues are important. Dude’s lucky he didn’t say anything more stupid that couldn’t be backpeddled like this was.
And as for ‘turning himself in’, it’s pretty suspicious that another city employee who was responsible for reviewing the footage also reported it up the chain of command, but the city couldn’t determine who did it first.
But yeah, let’s trust his version.
HEY MEDIA!
Stop. Giving. These. Fuckwits. Attention!
For what it’s worth, my congress cretin is loving polishing trump’s asshole and ceding away congressional oversight to the executive branch. At a town hall lady week, he said that the DOGE department was always DOGE, they just changed the acronym (wat?!) and it was always under the executive branch, not an independent federal agency.
