I’ve been doing a majority of my gaming on a steam deck lately, running Linux. Check my deck says that anno 1404 is not supported on the deck though. In general, I’d say that Linux gaming has gotten a LOT better, but it is not yet perfect.

To be fair, racism is weird. It’s not normal, and most Americans are not racist. People need to start talking out and letting everyone know we don’t support that nonsense, and hopefully we’ll eradicate it.

It depends on what you mean here. If your politics say that LGTBQ+ people don’t deserve to live, that some children just need to die (school lunches being cut), that it’s ok to force raped children to give birth, then, yeah you’reat least a little evil. If you believe that women or people of a different skin color are less than you you’re at least a little evil. Even if you’re a pleasant conversationalist, even if you donate time and money, are kind to children and animals, if you have evil opinions, or support people who do, you are a little evil.

I believe the impetus is on the bigot to figure their shit out. It is exhausting arguing with bigots, and it is not people’s job to teach them how not to be a bigot. There is enough information out there now that you should know not to be an intolerant asshole, and if someone chooses instead to be a piece of shit, I’m comfortable with them being ostracized while they sort themselves out. And if they can’t, I’m comfortable with them dying old, alone and confused wondering why nobody visits them.

For example- the new balance datasheet for Warhammer 40K came out, and I wanted to see what the changes actually were and what they meant for my faction (Leagues of Votann), but that conversation wasn’t happening. I could start it myself, but I am ignorant - I still don’t know enough about Warhammer to understand the effects of the changes. I checked the Leagues of Votann discord, but couldn’t find any reasonable conversations. I tried going back to when the datasheet was released to follow the conversation, but it was hard to follow, and the app kept resetting me to the newest statements. I had to go back to reddit to see what people were saying.

That’s interesting! I hadn’t thought about that, but it’s a good point.

Yeah, I understand that it isn’t a walkable city. But the inside shows why we should work towards walkable cities.

Someone once told me that malls are appealing because they match what we want out of a walkable city, and I haven’t been able to get that out of my mind.
