I find AirBnB to be cheaper when renting an entire house vs 3 or 4 hotel rooms. But an apartment vs a hotel room is even or the hotel is cheaper

Muslims could stop Quran burning by just not reacting to the obvious acts of incitement
You may want to read the article - they did call the police. Unfortunately it takes less time for someone to violently smash through a door than for the cops to arrive.
Interesting that you summize that they were apparently silent as this guy smashed their door
And, would you really play the odds that someone violently entering your house would suddenly have a moment of clarity when they entered? He was messed up enough to think shattering his own window was a viable option to get into his house.
This wasn’t a punishment or sentence.
He was literally breaking through the door to enter the house.
What was the home owner supposed to do? Hope he became non-violent once he got in? Challenge him to a game of chess? Declare a set of non-lethal rules and duke it out?
The homeowner has a right to not be attacked in his own home ffs
He didn’t just accidentally enter the wrong home, he was forcibly breaking into the home when he was shot. Even breaking a window to open the door from the inside.
Tragic as he was likely just intoxicated and confused, but understandable that the homeowner would use force to defend himself
While the woman was on the phone with police, Donofrio broke a glass window on the front door “and reached inside to manipulate the doorknob,” at which point the male resident fired the shot through the broken window that struck Donofrio in his upper body, according to police
I think his analogy is accidentally spot on. ICE cars are going to be around for a while
No, unless you and everything around you is fireproof
When we had a laptop do this, I kept it outside until we could get rid of it
I throw the “ok boomer” back at my teen kids when I’m sorting out tech problems for them, just like I do for my actual boomer parents 😆
The leopard is still hungry
Not that I’m advocating a return to Reddit, but Relay still works
Or just don’t buy a luxury car
The economics are compelling, but the cost of ownership for someone like me would also have to factor in the extra interest paid on a loan at least $20K more than a comparably-sized ICE car
Tesla does a lot of things right - their cars are amongst the fastest around and their charging network is superior to any others to date
But their build quality is poor and their autonomous driving features are overstated compared to what they can deliver
Plus their service support is limited due to their direct sell model - there aren’t many places to get Tesla’s repaired
Tesla did make EVs mainstream though. Consider that their cars outsell popular ICE cars even though the Tesla’s cost 50%+ more
So, it’s a mixed bag with a lot of their customers, and some outsiders, absolutely fanatical about them, some people hating them by proxy because of Musk, and some people 50/50 on them like any car brand
Reason #21 that my mid-life crisis hasn’t led to me buying a motorbike yet
He’s a douchebag and takes too much credit for the engineering that has made them successfull, but SpaceX has delivered some next-level rockets and Tesla has been very successful creating a new market niche and selling a ton of cars
Or just one of those magic 8 balls to make decisions
Musk will profit, but not likely in persuit of getting recompense from Meta, and from his whole Twitter excursion
A lot of Canadians applying for Indian visas are Indian ex-pats.
This will likely piss off more Indians than Canadians
