My dentist: got anything exciting coming up?
Me: Going to Bali in a couple of weeks, you?
Dentist: no, I’m not going to Bali.

Later in the story it mentions registrations. I wonder if they just registered a heap of them shortly after the government said they were likely going to pause the rebates but before they did. I wonder if all that is now effectively stock they can sell but with the rebate?
Should be investigated either way.
Regarding point 1, he is 71 years old. Certainly not young but Trump is 78, and if he makes it to the end of his term he will be 82…
Or it could be payment for getting him into power. Cheaper for Putin to convince swinging US voters online and get Trump into office, than sending more Russian’s to the grinder?
But then they typically still want your name, address, phone number, email address, gender, etc.
I just want some food.
also, they had room carpeted but haven’t shaved the bottom of the door off yet, so the door is very reluctant to open even when found…
It still needs to learn. I’m personally trying to opt out of it watching everything I do, will have to be some pretty serious benefits for me to revert.
I’ve seen some BC bronze arrowheads listed for auction and were surprised how cheap they were.
Effort, risk
I had to make the change to Windows 11 at work, it was certainly a downgrade. Pretty common that there is a massive wait for even the most simple applications to load. Quite often I end up opening multiple copies, because I think the first click to open didn’t register, click again and they all open at once. This is on the same hardware that Windows 10 did fine on.
If they get used it is obviously really going to be a bad time for all but one thing in their favour is that the prevailing wind goes from west to east.
So in your example, I guess the tariffs don’t apply to Canada? Because the proceeds of tariffs go to the government of the country charging them.
That every store wants you to sign up and have you give them your details.
When I bought a shirt in a department store a couple of years ago and the guy wanted me to give him my email address “to save paper” (yeah right), rather than give me a receipt. It was like we were having a stand off for a while there. I just want to buy a shirt not sign up for ongoing spam!
Reminds me of a tiny Verbatim USB A one I had on my key ring for ages. https://www.storagereview.com/review/verbatim-tuff-n-tiny-usb-drive-review?amp

I was wondering how CD-RW works, if anyone else wants to know:

They have a layer that can change between clear and opaque that is changed by having different temperatures applied to it.
Most long haul flight have seats with decent head rests but for shorter flights I want to sleep on, I use a soft cervical collar. More comfortable without it on but it means you don’t wake up with your head in a weird position and sore neck.
3D eye masks mean your eye lashes aren’t brushing against the eye mask.
I prefer in ear headphones as it means you can rest your head against the window or whatever, it is more comfortable and you don’t get buzzing from the plane being carried through.
I got a great travel hoodie that has heaps of pockets, some on the inside, a big hood with a fold down flap for extra darkness, ensures a comfortable temperature etc.
For shorter trips I’d recommend a moisture wicking long sleeve top to help keep you at a comfortable temperature but not take up space in your bag.
Edit: The hoodie I got years ago and still have was a Burton Sleeper Hoodie, sadly it seems they have stopped making them?
YTM: you have a vague hint of network reception, just wait for me to fail loading what I want to load before I consider letting you play your downloaded music.
Imagine how many hours could have been put to more productive use, if making clothes flat never became a thing.
