Only for Toyota to completely fuck up their tech by running out of disk space for their system to exist on. Looks like someone should have put “Buy more hard drives” to the board.
Because people on mastodon don’t feel “captive” to the corporate social media feed and are free to engage however they want.
They blame the people for how hostile their platforms are, but all the while feed us only content that makes us angry or upset – so yeah, it’s not a surprise that the platform is a cesspool when they’re the ones stirring the shit in the first place to keep engagement high.
Firefox should just include an add-on for french-based installs that blocks those sites with explicit french instructions for how to uninstall it and a link to their petition and any public phone numbers of high profile french politicians. Effectively, they should protest the decision by making it something users can opt out of while also making sure users who don’t like it complain to the people in charge of their country.

Upvoting in solidarity with the idea, but I have no meaningful insight into whether this is possible or not long term. I do agree that means to reduce fragmentation would be nice.
I do wish that some of the “extra content” from other versions made it into the game in some capacity, even if it was relegated to a separate mode. I know that FFV and FFVI have some bonus extra dungeons on the GBA version that would be nice to have even as an optional configuration.
