The silver lining in my head is that at least the USA can dissuade other countries from voting conservative. And if Canada/Australia take in US refugees, the progressive parties would get a huge boost in support.

America is incredibly lenient when it comes to schooling children. There are numerous private programs, including religious schools and non-religious private schools. Parents can tutor kids at home. Parents can hire anyone to tutor their child. You do not need any certification to be a tutor. You do not need permission from the state to do any part of this.

This is why we say, “Do not comply in advance”. I don’t buy this explanation for one second. Someone stood up the these MAGA-looneys and they’re saying this to save face and try to dodge problems in court.

Already looked at emigration. I’m sure doctors and scientists and researchers are leaving in droves, but for the average person it’s quite difficult until there is some amnesty policy.

I feel every part of this. I just wanted to be an artist and make video games for people to enjoy. Now I’m screaming in terror watching every facade of normalcy be torn apart like paper mache. My two cents is that we need to get armed and fast. We’re beyond the point of “wanting” or “not wanting”. I’ve been spending the last several months desensitizing myself to violence and coming to terms with the idea that I do not have a future. I was not a violent person but I know I need to be.

This is not a world of reason, stability, rationale, future. This is a world that is run by the enemy. This is the time we need to assume the worst because the cost of under-estimating is too high.
