In other words, lemmy population isn’t just an ever-increasing growth slope, let’s panic.

Damnit, now my liver is going to just have to learn to get by with just being more healthy.
Generally, overpopulation by an invasive species tends to ruin any habitat. We are just specially adept at it.
Sometimes the ghosts catch up to him.
Not usually, but if you think you might be vitamin deficient because of disease or eating habits, then they can actually be useful. Reminds me of this video, for whom they would certainly have been useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VINtwoyaF_8
The problem with online social media is being exposed to argumentative loudness for basic things that shouldn’t be a big deal. That, and the entities tailoring themselves to gain benefit from them.
Just dictator things.
Basically, it’s an admission that the cybertruck is going to stand out like a sore thumb due to normal wear and tear.
You mean the perfect example of the taxi industry coordinating against uber as a threat?
Those rates are also set to increase:
The fact is, if Uber had not existed there would be no Las Vegas taxicab flat rate as you know it.
Streaming is now just as expensive and confusing as cable.
Umm, are people coming over from an alternate universe? Cable was much more expensive and limited, streaming forced it to reform.
Ubers cost as much as taxis.
This shitty claim sounds false, specially with the antics taxis perform to make trips longer. If it does have any ring of truth, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of it comes from having to acquiesce to the taxi sector, because they really cannot compete otherwise.
cloud is no longer cheap.
No shit, renting is more expensive in the longterm than owning something yourself? Tell me more.
Yes, a censorship state is muuuuch more objective.
Shouldn’t you be checking your banking accounts to see how many are at risk of getting closed off without warning due to defaults from the Evergrande crash? Everything is fine, nothing to see here. - CCP
Cult of personality is like a cult, more at 11.
It’s what you get when you invest in glorified digital receipts being used in a confidence game. The real legality is behind whatever the purchase and license agreements say, and a digital receipt may matter shit to it, specially if the the transaction is largely absent of any other value.
Hell no am I going to give them access to that data. They might as well just admit they are part of the US intelligence collection process at this point, too. Making a fake ID, that I wouldn’t mind using with this service. There would be nothing illegal with it, either, it would just break their own EULA. But how would they know?
These morons want to turn the means of evolution off while still thinking themselves evolutionary superior.
It isn’t that it’s like the Dot Com bubble, it’s that not all AI matters, just ChatGPT mostly, and not only is it still very much in its inception phase, it’s also still very much a huge risk because of the complete lack of transparency and the ridiculous amount of data retention. Another problem is, it’s so effective, it only takes a few milking it to completely saturate the opportunity market, so good luck holding up the bubble when it’s really one single company with relatively few subscriptions to it.

Mistakes such as guessing the wrong lottery numbers all those times.
In my experience, the more a company brands their product presumptuously, the more you should avoid it. At the very least, it will be skewed by consumers so shallow that they only decided to use it because of it, and a significant portion of the demands on it will part from their ignorance.
I think there is room in the world for an basic HTML service that can be viewed in lynx/links, in no small part due to how it usually means those services can be used by the blind and visually impaired as well under more circumstances.
