There is an ICE facility in California thats thrived by bribing local officials and has been known to detain people that are not carrying I.D., with agents believed to be going around the local neighborhoods harassing people.
It’s not been about illegal immigration or violations of visas, ICE is corrupt and conducts itself in horrendous, morally heinous ways, to innocents and guilty alike.
I see it said agian and agian. because its true. Firefox is one of, if not the best of the mainstream browsers. (Not included its many forks) but Mozilla is a horrible caretaker of it. Mozilla does not focus on firefox and they dont care/believe in it nearly as much as its users or devs who fork it.
The motivations of a company are extremely important, and has Mozilla does not care for a lightweight, good, privacy centric browser, the enshitification will and has corrupt firefox.

As someone who loved the random article feature and will sometimes peruse Wikipedia at random, this is extremely fascinating to me.
I have met people who voted for trump because they didn’t like Hillary, or didn’t like biden and “didn’t realize what he’d do” and far, far too many people he targets like immigrants who support him, for a Myriad of reasons, but many, saying he wont target us because we supported him or “He’s not going to target us, just ‘insert country here’”. The leopards earing faces voters are very real and have put so much on themselves and everyone around them.
They need to tell people they are doing something and solving issues and it’s alot easier to solve issues you create then those that actually plauge society.
Keep people uneducated, and feed them misinformation. yes, it is very unfortunate that is the federal policy for k-12 education.
Being an educator in this day and age seems so difficult, we are taught all the studies and theories of healthy child development, how to promote healthy social emotional learning, but we must fight parents and increasely the law to maintain a safe, healthy social environmental layer.
Good educators are already beaten down from so many things and have become rare, but I know most of my colleagues and friends have no intention of bending knee to this and policies aimed at hurting students we fight for, and I desperately hope this sentiment is shared by many across our country.

One of the problems is many of our shipbuilding ports are shuttered, right, it’s not as much a matter of competition, but they just dont make ships? Putting fines, not to the registered owner, or port of origin but orgin of manufacture for a ship? Seems an absolute nightmare to implement, without alot of use. Where would the money go? Obviously it wouldn’t be used to reopen and run U.S. shipbuilders, so it’s just a money grab for trump to embezzle more money or to piss off more people for no good reason.
