Yeah, I am aware. I mostly use Instagram to follow artists and friends (since nobody wants to swap to alternatives). I try to use the alternatives as much as possible and if someone I like is on the alternative, I’d usually follow them there.

Ah, thanks for sharing how to remove it. Though, I never realized how choppy it looks to maneuver my phone without animations lol. I’ll keep them on because the one benefit is not outweighing that.
