I honestly didn’t even include a DVD/BluRay drive in my PC build, so can’t really use those. And I tunnel all that traffic through Proton VPN, so ISP isn’t an issue.
I’m back to sailing the high seas and dumping my loot into Plex.
With all the mess going on in this country right now, I don’t know that anyone wants to also add on the epic shit-show that would inevitably result from the government trying to mess with religion - even the weird cults.
Ooooh, I’m jealous. I heard Jesus was hung.
Sling shot target practice.
It has more than I need for now. Isn’t that effectively unlimited? I could definitely see myself filling it up eventually as my media library grows, though.
I’m glad I have a NAS.
There’s a 4 hour heat cycle it has to go through as part of the cleaning. In addition, the machines are apparently very temperamental and throw errors a lot, but the error codes are (arguably intentionally) obscure so typical employees just aren’t going to know what’s wrong with it. Also machine servicing is done exclusively by the machine manufacturer, so if any work needs to be done to it they’ve gotta schedule a tech call-out.
But then I’d finally be as beautiful on the outside as I feel on the inside!
Definitely not a “too” in this situation. I still handle my responsibilities.
No, I said paying my actual bills first. AND buying weed. Now go lick on nelnet’s tasty boot “r-tard”.
I’m considering not paying as long as they’re doing the “ease you back into it” stuff like not reporting to credit agencies or garnishing wages. Seems essentially like a forbearance without the interest freeze. It really just depends on what my new payments end up being. But until that dog gets its teeth back, Nelnet can have what’s left after I pay my actual bills and buy my weed.
And it’ll be rent controlled!
There’s only so much handholding you can do for people who actively refuse to listen to facts and science that tell them their way of life, based on the mining of fossil fuels, is long past being sustainable. The best I can offer is my sympathies that they ignored the same writing on the wall that the rest of us have been reading for a couple of decades. It’s on Daddy and Grandpa for not telling their kids that the “family business” is a bad future career choice and not directing them towards something with a more sustainable outlook.
Search job sites for “search quality rater.” Should be a number of postings for fully remote, part-time, ~$15/hr work. Takes a few weeks to go through the qualifying process, but it’s mostly common sense stuff. Just requires the time commitment - projects will probably want 10-20 hours a week.
