Bold of you to assume the current administration will let you vote, except maybe as for where specifically the concentration camps for LGBTQ people will be built.
The strength of life to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.

That’s my main takeaway. If you want to appear stronk leedr, this isn’t it. This just makes you seem desperate because your russian money givers are getting impatient.
I mean, I feel it’s a misunderstanding of what users actually use social media for.
Just of top of your head, can you list three reasons they want to join the Fediverse for a “normal” Reddit user? Because I struggle to name one, nevermind three. There’s all the technical reasons, ethical stuff, etc. But that’s all something that enthusiasts would consider, and it goes against how the vast vast majority of users use social media where the more centralized the better as it multiplicatively expands the pool of content and interactions to have everyone centralized.
The Fediverse shows this, in fact! Note how resistant users are to spread over instances, in fact being always after centralizing on the bigger ones. But this isn’t a bad thing really, as it’s simply the nature of social media. Of course far less necessary on federated stuff, but there’s also no reason not to (again, from the perspective of someone wanting to use social media, not advocate).
It’s not an easy thing to do to get users here. The place inherently doesn’t appeal to those it would need to appeal to.
Personally since chat/messages are now ubiquituous, call implies you need my reply/attention/input now, and/or need the vocal tonal part of communication.
If you call, and it’s clear there was neither reason, I’m annoyed. There was no reason to interrupt me, as I’ll assume there’s an emergency or urgent situation and pick up dropping whatever I’m doing.
There are exceptions of course, but nowadays those (like family get-togethers or check-ins) have honestly moved to group video chats so they’re not “calls”, either.
Damn, is there a digitalization of it around somewhere? 😅
Sorry for your loss. It’s been over a year since one of my two cats, Chili, walked over the bridge, and I still get moments where I miss her. Her sister OTOH is healthier than I am, tbh. 😅
Man I sure wish this’d mean all Trump-generated content and speeches got deleted. That’d be genuinely helpful to the world at least…
I saw one that had a different relative say he was an honest person and hard worker.
CEO
Which one was it now?!
The thing is, if you don’t want to be a billionaire then that still leaves you - assuming normal rounding - with ~500 MILLION of wealth. If you can’t snort all the cocaine you’d ever want in your life from that amount, I don’t know…
It still should. The paradox of tolerance just means you have to not tolerate the intolerant, not actively mock them. I mean sometimes that can be fun, but let’s be honest, they even took out the wrong guy (they’ll just get a new CEO who’ll hardline the stance even more and waste money on a ton of bodyguards, hopefully at least Gaddafi-style). Should have gone after the shareholders, that’ll really hurt the business model after all. The CEO is just a representative figure who puts his name under decisions that are 99,5% not driven by him.
Was is still the correct choice to take him out because he is a billionaire and a murderous asshole? I’ll say no, because I don’t believe in death penalty on account of it being too lenient. Should have thrown him down a well and let him starve slowly, or at least delivered death by immurement or something. Something slow, ideally decades slow. But that’s besides the point, overall he also deserves fuck all sympathy because he was still a) a billionaire and b) the CEO of one of the most cruel companies around, rivaling black ops stuff and far outdoing them in the lives lost to their practices.
Reading that… forum… gave me an aneurysm.
Same as I, yeah.
Wait, someone guilty of a crime can get jailed for the crime?
That certainly explains why people like Musk or Trump don’t get it, since that does not apply to them.
Ah, the negative image of a void! :o
Ah, they’re all crap.
Came to Teams from Slack, some upsides, some downsides. It’s a corporate communication tool, I don’t use it because I think it’s beautiful and elegant, I use it because I get paid money to use it.
Over a million actually by now, and they got above 15 mil total.
Congratulations Americans. At least the last time you had the excuse “Damn, we could not have predicted he’d be this bad and incompetent as a president”. (I mean you could have and everyone else did, but hey I can see how you might use it as an excuse)
Must be really terrifying to see a woman in a position of power if you’d rather vote for a fascist who wants to quite openly dismantle the checks and balances on his own position.
I mean it makes sense to target these people. If you’re stupid enough to believe the shit Musk or Trump spout, you’re also stupid enough to not see these very obvious scams.
Always gets me back to the Dr House scene about the mom who doesn’t want to vaccinate her kid.
Why would it? It sees a road in front of itself, the whole car is built + programmed to go by what it sees, as an image.
The car is doing exactly what it is built to do. It just so happens that “safety of road traffic” is not among the things it is built for, and explicitly so.
