i get the hunts pasta sauce in a huge fuckin can for like a buck. Raos is definitely for people that think a banana costing 10 dollars is cheap and affordable.

The North Dakota and Tennesee officers involved in this need to be arrested, and convicted, for kidnapping, abuse of authority, elder abuse, and whatever fucking other charge they can be trumped up on.

the 10,000,000 dollar question

Oh god they are trying to do Plowshare 2.0.

Molesting Adolescent Girls Anywhere

Shit like this aint meant for you and me.
Its meant for big industrial scale data whores, like Palantir, and youtube, and CIA.

are you not even putting salt and pepper on it?
Cause thats the most barebones way to eat it… Its okay just by itself, but it really needs at least salt and pepper, if its not part of a larger recipe or something.

and every forum had rules against bumping, typically only once in 24 hours, and only like once or twice. It was never a problem, much less as egregious as you try to paint it to be.
and I’d still take that any day, over the toxic miasma of gamification, advertising, and multibillionaire control we have now.
Honestly, I dont know how anyone can say that the days before gamification, before adpocalypse, before billionaire hijacking of the internet for their own personal ends, is worse than what we have today. It borders on either lunacy, or propaganda.

You would get a floppy disk that had a virus buried in it in addition to the game/software. Often via trade of copied software, I think there were one or two instances of officially released floppies having been compromised in the factory, too, so every floppy sold of that particular software came with the virus.
It’d infect your computer, then embed itself on every floppy you’d make, some of which you’d inevitably trade with friends or whatever, thus infecting all their systems, so all floppies they’d write were infected, and they’d eventually trade with others, and so on and so on and so on.

I am one of the few people, it seems, that can not for the life of me remember my ICQ number… but I was there, using it.
Anyone remember Trillian? Having your Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, Messenger, etc all in one program…

upvotes and gamification of human interaction ruined the internet and are directly responsible for the extremity of discourse today.
The internet was so much better before that shit.
Which is also the era before social media, because as far as I’m aware, social media introduced those addiction driven gamification mechanism for what should be, by now, clearly obvious reasons to even the most thick skulled individuals.

How far to the extreme are they gonna take this “License only as you were born” shit?
Start getting gray hair? Thats not the hair color you were born with, immediate license revocation.
Amputation? Scars? You werent born with those, immediate license revocation.
Hair color was blond at birth, but now is brown? Oh you better believe thats a revocation.
All cause a bunch of sexually repressed bigots cant handle being attracted certain people.

as long as there are no checks and balances, as long as no one exists with the will and sense of duty to do their job, there is no distinction between legal and illegal.

probably the same reason I refused to let it go.
I actually own it, control it, and can use it at my wimsy.
vs streaming, which I could buy it and still have it taken away from me cause you never own anything when its streaming/digital download.

worker productivity continues to climb ever higher, yet wages never grow with it.
take someone from the 1950s office and ask them to do the same amount of work that an officer worker today does, and they’d quit on the spot. especially since they’d be paid less today than they were in the 1950s as far as buying power goes.

No, I dont use it.
I get enough hallucinations and blatant lies from biologicals, I don’t need an AI erasing a mountain to consume the coal underneath to tell me made up bullshit.

AI is the last great bubble.
And it, like all bubbles, will pop.
You are already seeing the people in the know flee the field.
You see reports that every company that has adopted it has at best changed nothing, at worst lost money on it.
Outside of the psychotic linked in CEO bubble, literally no one wants AI. And every day its generating more and more hate due to its halucinations, mistakes, and bullshit.
Its garnering massive negative attention for its use, and for anyone stupid enough to adopt it at this point (cough intel cough)
Its a dying star, and people are frantically trying to harvest the last bits of warmth from it before going off in search of new horizons.

“Hatred that kills has no place in our country” - Man trying to stop hateful people who want to kill from facing consequences of their actions.
Gee, wonder who that cop voted for. I bet we could never guess /s
