It’s basically a no brainer for either Amazon or HBO. Amazon already did
Preacher andThe Boys. and AMC did PreacherTangentially, Fox did Y the Last Man, and HBO did Watchmen sequels, Watchmen proper already got adapted, Netflix did Sandman…
What’s fucking left from the adult comics boom of 80s-00s ? Shade the Changing Man? Animal man? The Invisibles?
EDIT: All I can think of is Warren Ellis’ stuff, and the OBVIOUS one is Transmet. Sure, you can try the authority or global frequency, but transmet seems the more grounded, beloved and perpetually relevant one.

Medium take: I would fucking mail my left thumb to the first studio to do a good job with a proper Animal Man series. That thing was bonkers.
Never heard of Transmetropolitan but this looks amazing!
I am in no way a comic book reader but transmet is the most important work of recent political fiction I have read.
The best comic I have ever read. Period.

LCS should be stocked with it, it’s fairly popular. make sure you start with collection/vol 1, vol 0 of paperback collections is artwork/spoilers.
Most well equipped comic book stores have it. I’m sure you will find it there.
