Actually what young people want is the connection between their struggle and their achievement. It’s mentioned in Heinlein’s “Starship Troopers”.

So, that kind of products seems to not be very tall in that regard.

How big asshole he is ? Guy thinks that he can say same things over and over and people won’t get sick of it. The product he sells is not work tool, it’s pop culture. The problem with pop culture is that it shifts to something else every 5-7 years.

So RIP AI because time is ticking. Their product if it have not attracted enough people to survive will vanish in the next 1-3 years. Deal with it.

They aren’t embracing it because it’s not good at solving novel problems which is generally why you need a thinking human in the position if any complexity is involved. If the problem was easy enough for AI to solve, employers tend to not have a person doing it anyway. The only service AI can replace was the self-service software already in place. I do see it being enormously helpful analyzing data but a person is still required to ensure inputs are thorough and accurate.

The thing that was cool 5 years ago was at least cool once. AI has yet to be cool and it doesn’t look like it’s heading in that direction. Meanwhile it’s also taking a shitty economy and making it worse while enriching some of the worst humans alive.

Elder Gen Z here, nah I prefer twenty plus you sub-sapient profligate. You can do such glorious things with CRTs, also it doesn’t do things it’s not supposed to technically any tech is supposed to break due to entropy.

Why do people care what these assholes say?

Pay attention to them only because they’re gonna tell you the shit they’re gonna try, but don’t listen to this bullshit.

I’d say I really don’t want to hear these people’s dumb bullshit and it’s not worthy of attention, but the limelight seems to be significantly harming them, so send it.

Nothing screams disruptive innovation like a billionaire scolding young people for not being excited enough about the technology making entry level jobs disappear. Apparently Gen Z should stop chasing what was cool five years ago and start chasing whatever Sam Altman needs investors to believe is cool this quarter.
