When I was on my recent trip to Japan, we visited a few shrines and I found it kind of funny how a lot of them had gift shops selling a bunch of religious themed merch. Then I thought about Christianity and all the Jesus merch.

They actually do have a few paintings and photos of The Bàb and Baha’u’llah. They are all kept in the archives, and one must travel to the Arc of The Covenant to see them. Photos of the pictures aren’t allowed. They don’t want people praying directly to The Bàb or Baha’u’llah, so no more pictures or depictions shall be made.
