I absolutely loooooove that. I have worked with a fair few autistic people over the years, and am probably undiagnosed myself.

I always love hearing about someone’s niche interest, whether it’s trains, games, weird music taste or whatever. One guy was into Roman Legion reenactment. He and his girlfriend would spend two weeks every year at a fully immersed reenactment campsite. He’d be a solder, she’d play a slave girl (yes, really).

It’s always a treat to find someone who doesn’t mind endless followup questions and they in turn love being talk in depth about it.
