Because the left is diverse, and they’re also peaceful, productive members of society by and large. You have to be a real piece of shit to get good, peaceful, diverse people to unite together to give a strong and militant response
Conservatives are already living in echo chambers, and they thrive off group think, and they’re too stupid to really understand the risks of what they’re doing or how dangerous it is to the country. All you have to do is let a few of them get away with it, and that will embolden the rest.
Conservatives grow up living in fear and self suppression, and they think that’s the natural state that everyone should be in.
