1 fix bmi. Its completely wrong for people who are very tall or very Short making insurance more expensive among other things.
2 glp1 for all
Dude…we have NO IDEA what will happen to all these people of glp-1 long term. Long term hormone treatments never end well.
Yeah the glp1 drugs are very promising for a number of things but absolutely clearly can solve the obesity epidemic.
Sigh. The US needs to get over the idea that all problems are solved by a pill or injection.
It isn’t a US thing. I don’t even live there nor was it invented there. It just happens to actually be very good at several things. There are some drugs that have a high impact to risk ratio; this is one. Not only is it good for diabetes control and weight loss, it is so far as we can tell safe. In addition, it seems to show promising characteristics regarding dementia too, at least in some early observational trials.
Drugs are not the solution to all problems, but sometimes science turns up something good for humanity.
