The beef was tainted with the antibiotic chloramphenicol. This is why China rejected it back in March. Note that Argentina itself bans the use of chloramphenicol.
These are the side effects:
Serious and fatal blood dyscrasias (aplastic anemia, hypoplastic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and granulocytopenia) are known to occur after the administration of chloramphenicol.
There have been reports of aplastic anemia attributed to chloramphenicol which later terminated in leukemia.
Blood dyscrasias have occurred after both short-term and prolonged therapy with this drug.

I was banned from there when I had my lemm.ee account. I posted an old meme of two German officers on a side by side, with the wheel mid air. The caption was “VTECH just kicked in, ja”, and I was banned for allegedly trying to make Nazis cool.
IMO the moderator/admin there doesn’t know what truly antique memes (COCK GOES WHERE?) are, and they never even tried to open a conversation with me before the ban. I rarely see any posts there now.
