“Thanks for the reward kind stranger!”
Reddit gold was the beginning of the end. I’ve seen the cycle before on older forums
It was pretty annoying seeing posts with very little actual activity pushed to the top. I had an app that ignored the reward prioritization though.
Edit: check out my SoundCloud!
So I had a significant event happen to me recently that made international news. I also run an email service that I’m trying to get off the ground. A few of my friends asked why I didn’t promote my business since I was all over the news. I don’t have a better explanation than I would be disgusted seeing someone do that, so I wouldn’t do it myself.
Replying to yourself is also super tacky. 🤢

It took this comment for me to notice
Checks highest upvoted comment for any edits
Oh thank god
I’ve left comments, forgot about them, rewatched the video years later and noticed that I got a ton of likes for saying the dumbest shit imaginable. YouTube commenters are an interesting crowd.
I’ve also seen someone get the most likes under a video for a comment they later changed to “Luigi Mangione is a hero”. Now those types of edits I can get behind.
And their comment is another tired-ass pun copied and pasted from another video
Homlander is ready to laser that exact comment 💀
