    It’s because you put the case down unevenly and most of the charge sloshed to one side

    Likely dirty/corroded charger connecting points that make the charging contact intermittent.

    Clean them, scrape off the layer of crust/corrosion with a jewler’s screwdriver if you have to. Once they’re clean and charge well again, I recommend putting a little dab of dielectric grease to protect them from corroding again.

    Mine started doing that a year after I bought them and I was about to throw them away when I tried doing that and it completely fixed it.

    yeah but I’ll take it over a wired set where one has to have the cord wrapped around my ear in a specific way for sound to come out.

    except no because a good enough replacement set was like 20 bucks and high end ones have always had and still do have removable cables.

      It’s the primary device, so audio and microphone and such by default go through there. It’s been listening for the hey Siri for about 12 hours when the right ear hasn’t had too
