What music albums or EPs released in the last ~20 years are way less popular than they should be?
Anything with over a million listens is probably already too popular for the purposes of this question. Looking for stuff that never got much air play, but is really excellent.
Destiny Potato - Lun
Fantastic album, released with next to no market8ng or fanfare.
Holding hands with jamie by gilla band. Really all their stuff and most post-punk. DITZ is pretty great too.
This is a killer French instrumental hip-hop album that has stuck with me super hard over the last decade.
Freighter - The Den
Definitely not gonna tickle everyone’s pickle. Heard it discribed as if the offspring swallowed a couple of math rock/metal bands. Not completely incorrect.
This is one of my favourites, and criminally underrated. Mid-tempo ambient electronic beats.
