Here’s the first episode’s monologue by Tina Fey.
It really does channel the American SNL vibe. And that’s not necessarily a good thing. I’ve watched a couple of the sketches and they are really hammy and the impersonations aren’t very good (like the Keir Starmer impression).
Tina Fey’s monologue was very good though. But having Graham Norton make a guest appearance in it is like a cheat code.
It was a decent hand-off / launch. It’s expected to take a bit to get their feet. Will be interesting to see how it goes. I do hope it ends up more British humour than American
Desperately needs its own YouTube channel.
Also the Starmer bits were spot on 😂

also watched the American “Have I Got News For You?” and it wasn’t as good as the British one but that’s just how it is.
