Excuse me but that’s a fuckin lie. These had skip protection and how do I know? I use to skate with this as my main music player before mp3.
Look at Mr big timer here with a decent CD player.
Not that model, I have one. It has extra skip protection.

Bullshit, that CD player had electronic skip protection, and those were able to keep from skipping even in the back of a bus on unpaved roads when I was a kid, you just had to hold it up. I hated the players without ESP for that reason
Mine didn’t. What did you do for “moving around”? Trampoline? Rope skip?
