There’s the two major sides of that coin that I would split the style into and one is hyper materialistic and sexualized while the other is full of political commentary and sometimes even talks about mental health problems among other things. Like, while I’m sure you can find examples of both from any one artist there’s for sure a stark difference between Snoop here and A Tribe Called Quest.
