my brain is literally depressed from having no ragebait to react to and frankly I am tired
I occasionally land on Reddit from trying to find an answer to something niche, but Lemmy has gotten much better and more active to the point that I’m seeing enough here to keep me from wanting to go back. I don’t know official numbers, but it at least feels that way.
I have only been gone from reddit for just over 6 months. Today I made the mistake of browsing it, there is so much misinformation, noise, and hate. After scrolling for about 10 minutes I realized that I hadn’t seen anything of substance that I hadn’t already seen on Lemmy
I really don’t feel like I’m missing anything by leaving reddit
It’s so bad now that the default client is king and now that a lot of the good super users bailed.
The content and the algo that sorts it is terrible.
The only thing I miss is my current cities sub.
The rest of it is the same thing every day
Block and block often. It works here.
I loves blocks, doubly so when they have letters on them! Then I can make a stack all the way to C!
