This, obviously, is not what was intended. I think it’ll have a funny side effect of people now beit able to see when they’re being extorted by apple, but still.
We’re I the EU, I would fine the hell out of apple for this bullshit. However, I’m not and something tells me that this is as far as it will go, unfortunately.
Didn’t they get fined or something by the US for lying about policies related to this issue? I can’t imagine the EU wouldn’t be even more strict on this considering existing precedence.
