Even though a majority of people on the streets do not use illegal drugs, they are both a factor leading to homelessness and an effect of it, the study found. Methamphetamine is the drug of choice.

Due to budget cuts, “Get into Magic so you won’t have money for drugs.” has now become “Don’t worry about it, you won’t have money for drugs anyways. Or for housing, for that matter.”

My wife’s favorite aunt lives in San Jose and if I had to pay for a house out there, I’d go crazy and do drugs too

“25% said they had never used drugs.”

    Something, something, self reported survey.

I wonder if anyone has told researchers that people can lie. You linked research about the topic, and people study these things in school before doing it professionally, but they’re not smart like us so they must not have thought about this while conducting their survey.

Less “not thought about it while conducting the survey” and more “reporters not thinking about it when reporting the results of the survey.”

Exactly the problem with self reported surveys.

Zoning so progressive it makes existing asset holders progressively richer.

But you need to be afraid of Libertarianism. Those guys don’t care about the poor.
