It’s just more bullshit to distract from Elon Musk and his cronies destroying our democracy

Get your head out of your ass. This is a gift to the oil industry and destroys the environment. There are new biodegradable straws that are 100% as good as plastic and won’t wind up embedded in sea life.

The new straws are %100 as good as my ass, and the gift to the oil companies was producing just as much plastic while tainting the consumers opinion on environmental conservation.

    Government picking winners.

This would work itself out over time. No one likes soggy straws. It’s actually caused some innovation. They have straws made from plants now that aren’t too bad.

Get out of here with your woke straws. If it isn’t guaranteed to kill a dolphin every time I take a drink I don’t want any part of it.

The pasta straws are neat. Probably cheaper/less complex to make too.

Yes by far plastic is more common still. I almost never see paper ones.

And when I do, I throw a shit-fit and hope our god emperor outlaws them. Or maybe I just don’t notice or care.
