  • From what I read the importance is only for Bakhmut itself, if you look on the map the city is just a point, we are talking about 6km of a 140km front line (from Bakhmut to the border with Russia). Unlike the Kerch Bridge, there are several other roads and railways to carry out logistics in the region, it is not as if this were the only option. Another detail is that these roads are so close to the front line that they all can be harassed by any artillery system in operation on both sides. but what do I know? I’m just spitting out what I read, but the consensus seems to be that Bakhmut has consumed and is consuming more resources than it is worth, and I have read several times by different analysts the comparison between Bunker Hill and Bakhmut.

  • You certainly can, and I’m not using that as an excuse, just a historical example.

I have nothing against the people of China, but why would I learn Chinese? I mean from an objective point of view, in how many places will I be able to speak Chinese? I can go online now and talk to Japanese, Germans, French, Spanish, Russians people in English and even if they can’t speak very well, most of them will understand at least something of what I’ve written. All the major programming languages are in English, all scientific papers have at least an abstract in English. It’s purely a question of relevance.

If the real world was civilization, English would have already won by Culture.

  • so now the exception is the majority? And Islamophobe it was created to deflect any criticism of islam, I say it’s wrong to throw a bomb and kill 12 because someone drew a picture of mohamed and I’m islamophobic, if I say it’s wrong to give 74 lashes because someone doesn’t agree with your religion and I’m islamophobic, if I say it’s barbaric to behead someone because they spoke against islam and I’m islamophobic, “everything I don’t like is is islamophobia”. Come up with better arguments instead of using buzzwords.

And I’m against all religions, especially Abrahamic ones, don’t think Islam is special just because I’m criticizing it here.

  • I know, I’m just refuting this ridiculous rhetoric that it would be complicit in acts of war by offering a service that has no direct action in the attacks, starlink is as complicit as the sea itself, since the drones are sailing on it. By that logic, Audi would be complicit in a hit-and-run. And as the provider of a service, which he knew the purpose of, he becomes complicit when he decides which attacks can or cannot take place using its service, he is literally making war decisions.

  • “cause Americans pushed them to this” the first or the second time? Americans pushed then for Georgia and Siria too? It’s certainly the US faulty too for the disastabilizations that Russia is causing in Africa. They certainly pushed China to create conflict with indonesia, Philippines, malasya and Taiwan too, right? Go back to lemmygrad, US is shit as fck but don’t blame them for imperialism and land grab by authoritarian regimes.
