Not that I’m disagreeing, but I also know where that ends. I should say, the range of endings. Aside from probably neither of us living long enough to see where it ends, the range of endings are almost universally bad for humanity in general, and the US in particular.
The concern for me is that we’re going to stop having protests, and start having explosions of government buildings to send a message.
I’m not as worried about the violence against judges, which is a horrific development. I’m more worried about the violence that happens when people realize their political views can bring violence against them because of what’s being done to judges.
That’s going to be the end of peaceful protest, and the start of a LOT of political violence.
Right wingers have, or cause, trouble in open forums, so most social media that isn’t operated as a walled garden, tends to be more left leaning.

Honestly it amazes me that no one has given some Houthis a few drones and set them loose in Palm Beach on the weekend. And that they haven’t done it themselves. Trump is out here setting up WW3 and playing golf on weekends, in an impossible to secure location.

Bush threw no bid contracts for new work at Halliburton, and it was a sketchy scandal that congress wasn’t willing to prosecute, because republicans. Musk is outright stealing a contract from another vendor, while slandering them in the media.
Everyone is about to get burned, and red states the worst. I guess congress has decided the sick and poor don’t own enough guns to worry about.
Part of the problem is Medicare is already taxing for healthcare. A state creating their own system would have to tax on top of that, and duplicate the administration of it.
It’s kind of like states trying to stop using daylight savings on their own. Technically they can, but only after getting all of congress and the president to agree.
I’m pretty sure the judge wants to refuse the dismissal and thinks he has the grounds and authority to do it. But he’s not gonna pull that trigger until he’s checked absolutely every angle, because he’ll be standing up to Trump directly. Sadly, he’s probably having to consider the safety of his family as well as the decision before him.
