Its not really all that Trek feeling, but I like Star Trek Invasion, for the PSX. Developed by a lot of the same guys that made Colony Wars, also on PSX. Its a space flight simulator, similar to the likes of Wing Commander and Star Wars Tie Fighter.

This is also true for initialisms, which are acronyms in which each letter is pronounced individually.
“A NASA project” would not become “an NASA project” because nobody pronounces each individual letter of NASA, they just say it as one word.
“An FBI agent” would always be correct, and “a FBI agent” would always be incorrect, because FBI is never pronounced as a word, and each letter is pronounced individually.
Hopefully they finally do something like 99% of Western Developers haven’t been doing and listen to some feedback.
It really is one of the best Yakuza games. The story so far is okay, its not as deep as 0 or 1 or anything, but its super fun and the gameplay is so crammed full of minigames and stuff to do that it truly feels like the most fun I have had with a Yakuza game.
Hope NieR Rein becomes playable again. Would be nice. Private servers, anything.
I have this game. Love the art style.
This game has like 4 people that play it only sometimes because the developers didn’t do anything to put the game out and the players that kept playing got too good for new people to learn how to play.
I would say to get the game, but I dont see the playerbase getting anywhere big enough from this for the developers to care about it again.
EDIT: The last update was October 2023, then for some reason 3 weeks ago a completely different development team of what appears to be just volunteers started updating the game. No idea what is going on with that but it would be nice if more than 1k people were playing again.
Steam doesn’t give customers permanent ownership of their games. Its extremely rare, but game licenses do occasionally get revoked on Steam.
Okay? Just make a good game, I dont think the main characters gender is really that important.
Though to be fair, the market is flooded with female main characters right now and with upcoming games, so I do appreciate the variety. Still, its an Ubisoft game and I probably wasnt going to buy it anyway.
While I can certainly understand why this style of interface is no longer utilized, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it. Likewise with the sleek designs of the Frutiger Aero variety that came almost immediately after.
Maybe I would do this if it wasn’t for ZOTAC and it did not demand I join a Discord server.
What is even the point of this? It doesn’t seem to say that it includes the ability to have your friends join in on your games, which is the entire point of LAN parties, so I have to assume that it does not have that feature. LAN parties aren’t about me coming to your house to watch you play a game by yourself, its about me bringing ny rig to your house so we can play a game together without all the added latency of being on the internet. We get extremely low ping and get to play a multiplayer game together.
This just looks like a worse version of VR Chat but with the ability to stream my gameplay into the “game.”
Arent the tarriffs on a 30 day pause though? With China already in talks to negotiate? If a deal is made and the tarriffs are dropped, are the price changes not going to go into effect?
My guess is no. Any excuse to raise prices will always be applauded by shareholders.
“We have considered it and have decided to price our console exactly what we had already decided, which is below what real video game consoles cost, but we will still overcharge you for the hardware we sell to you. But don’t worry, we considered it.”
They are absolutely going to be on the Switch 2. Not even a question.
Just like Zelda Twilight Princess was on the Wii and GameCube.
They only got 13k signatures this time? I wonder if PirateSoftware, who I have very quickly lost respect for (like literally over the course of just a few days), had anything to do with this?
I don’t understand why anyone expected anything different when DAV clearly did not do well.
Still can’t believe they really thought it was going to be well received. They really thought they were cooking.
There are very few reason why I might choose to pre-order a game:
Thats really it. Generally niche instances, I don’t find myself pre-ordering games all that often anymore. I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition of Elden Ring, the White Snow edition of NieR Replicant 1.22 (still waiting on that Gestalt 1.22 DLC). But other than those two, I haven’t felt compelled to pre-order anything else. I learned about Dino Crisis on GOG too late if it even had a pre-order period, but I did buy it on release day.
Japanese law both enables and encourages this kind of behavior. Unfortunately, Japanese companies have been increasingly strongarming people to follow Japanese law even when it does not apply to them.
Is that with or without multiframe generation? I am assuming without?
For competitive or fast action games you should have MFG off, but for games that aren’t so fast I could easily see MFG giving a very clearly smoother presentation, and that is only available on the 50 series cards.
Smells like jealousy that one game exploded and the other didn’t.
