I for one like stability when my money is involved, and most people do. Most arent looking for the roulette wheel experience. When you have an idiot wielding tremendous power to throw out trade agreements and to inadvertently or intentionally tank certain businesses and industries because they’re significantly affected by tariffs, and from one day to the next they’re added, removed, added again, increased, now decreased… that’s not a place you want your money. And the government’s where those businesses reside aren’t stable either as their future taxes and revenue streams are hard to predict, so their bonds are dicey.

So what do you think investors should do? So what are you doing? Just crossing your fingers and rolling the dice? Got any major purchases coming up? Hoping to retire soon? If you lost your job how secure you feeling about getting another right now? Maybe invest in $TRUMP… I’m sure that will carry you.

Calling GPS part of imperialism is a stretch. It was put in the air at no cost to another country and can be used without cost by anybody, but nobody has to use it. Other countries can launch their own satellites if they want, but they don’t because that’s expensive and GPS is free. The US isn’t making money off of it or exploiting another country with it.

Yes, the US can jam it regionally when in conflict but of course why wouldn’t we? No reason to help the enemy.

Best to talk to a lawyer for specifics, but like non-compete agreements, NDAs often include things that can’t legally be enforced. The people wanting you to sign the NDA just hope you don’t know better and you’ll shut up.

If you know better, you can take their money and then disclose the facts anyway.

The jury also heard evidence how there had been multiple serious injuries before this lady and yet McD intentionally refused to lower the temperature as the bean counters realized they saved money keeping it hot… people couldn’t drink very much of it in restaurant as they ate their breakfast and therfore didn’t ask for refills. Even though they had paid out claims previously, it was cheaper to keep it hot and keep paying them out despite injuries. The jury thus decided on significant punitive damages to motivate McD to do the right thing.

To be fair and accurate, he lied to the country about the seriousness of the outbreak. He’s on recording in Feb 2020 flat-out telling Bob Woodward it’s going to be bad, it’s much more deadly than the flu. At the same time he’s publicly calling it a hoax, that its going to go away, like a miracle.

The people that trusted him didn’t take it serious because he told them not to, and then accused everyone taking it serious to be fools or intentionally trying to create a panic and steal their liberties. Had he simply allowed the scientists and the CDC to speak candidly and deferred to them, thousands upon thousands of lives would have been saved.

It was quite bad until we 1) got an effective vaccine and 2) the post-Delta mutations became less deadly over-all. If we get another bad mutation things could get ugly again.

I’m a registered Republican and there is no comparison between the two. Trump and the GOP’s continuous refusal to call out Trump out for any of his lies and crimes, it’s constant spewing of hateful rhetoric and shameless hypocrisy have put our democracy at risk. It’s magnitudes worse than what the Democrats have done or are doing and I’m refusing to vote for any GOP candidate at this point until there’s a drastic change.

I’ll take any Democrat whose policies I don’t agree with because we can vote them out later if we dont like the results. I will not vote for a GOP candidate that doesn’t call out both Trump and the rest of the rot currently present in the Republican party because they’re a threat to immigrants, minorities, the non-rich and our Democracy itself even if they’re only silent.

I bought a lifetime license literally more than 20 years ago to support the developer. I use 7Zip for most stuff but prefer WinRAR for split rar archive support.

Also worth noting… even if we knew for a fact she had no serious intend to carry out her threat - like if there was a recording before and after she hung up the phone laughing about this “prank” - threats on the lives of government officials are crimes. It can influence their behavior. There is no situation where it’s not serious, just like standing up on a plane and yelling “I have a bomb!” is a crime and serious whether a joke or not.
