I agree. I am was just talking about a hypothetical privatized postal co. It is a service. Imagine how many people would send Christmas cards at $10 a card.

If I was put in charge of a privatized Post Office I 'd start by stopping regular mail service and focus on packages. Just not profitable enough.

The media needs to start calling them what they are, import taxes. The term “tariffs” obscures they meaning for some people.

This isn’t exactly new. I heard a few years ago about a situation where the ai had these wires on the chip that should not do anything as they didn’t go anywhere , but if they removed it the chip stopped working correctly.

I would like to stop changing the clocks. I read a while back that in the 1970s they did it and reverted back because so many people complain about getting up in the dark. Seems like it would be best to keep the winter hours honestly. All the proposal I’ve seen want summer time.

Sellers in the US need to do a truth in Taxation so Americans will know they are paying a tariff and how much, regardless of which party implemented it.

I wasn’t saying AMD would shut down, but that Intel would take market share from them before truely affecting Nvidia’s market share. ie AMD and Intel would be fighting over the same 25ish% of the pc market.

I see the idea of Intel dropping arc as good news for AMD. Intel was going to chip at AMD’s marketshare well before Nvidia’s. It would be better to have more competition though.

Joining with Nvidia is definitely a way for MediaTek to make inroads against Qualcomm and their Snapdragon chips.
