I’m fully aware that I did not post the full article, that wasn’t my intention. Why would I have to post the full article? You already linked that.
Huh? Yes, I posted a relevant paragraph from the article.
I didn’t, solar flares and activity can cause signal loss. I agree that the amount of starlink loss seems excessive, but signal loss can be explained by solar activity. What do you think is happening?
What is going on guys?
It’s in the article you posted:
Experts are blaming the most recent solar storm as the cause. A G3 Geomagnetic storm rocked the Earth this past week producing spectacular auroras all the way down to the mid latitude areas in the United States. Major solar flares continue to blast the Earth causing unstable conditions for satellites. Two more M8 flares have been been hurled towards Earth causing Geomagnetic storm predictions for this weekend. The solar wind index according to swpc.noaa.gov showed 500-600km per second winds throughout the duration of the storm. The average wind speed is usually around 300km per second for mild conditions.
I don’t have cable, but know someone who does. The only reason they still have it is for sports broadcasts.
Unfortunately, because of him being a billionaire his PR is self sustaining and posts about him aren’t going anywhere.
Cameras connected to the public internet are such a bad idea.
Went through UT earlier this summer and was amazed to see that unlike here in Seattle, all of their lawns were a deep green. In a desert.
Many cars connect to the internet via cell, even if the owners didn’t specifically pay for that, and many times it can’t be disabled.
Reid Foreman is one of them. He admits he knowingly disobeyed evacuation orders and tells CTV News he would do it again.
“In a heartbeat,” said the Eagle Bay resident who works in the forestry industry.
“I’ll get arrested, I’ll get a fine, I don’t care – I’m helping, I know I’m helping.”
This person is risking the lives of people who can actually help. What an idiot.
I like how they say “copy from wayback” like ‘Save As…’ works well on modern websites.
Since when is this news? The grocery stores near me only allow service animals, and it’s been that way for as long as I can remember.
How can you say that in past tense when the center of the storm hasn’t even arrived to the area yet?
Almost like the younger generations got absolutely stalled and now have rough futures thanks to climate change.
Probably because he’s sad that people are blocking him.
Hey buddy. I’m back with more actual evidence that LK-99 isn’t a superconductor: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-02585-7
I know someone that works there - they had an internal ticket cut to their manager for not coming into the office 3 days a week. Their manager knew nothing about it and wasn’t expecting it at all. Pretty dumb that they’re saying it makes employees more productive when they had their record profits while everyone was working from home in 2020/2021.
So you’re saying I can go downtown and grab any of these that I see?
Oh, I’m sure that NOAA is watching you and really cares about what you’re posting.
